BEN breaking news – Staging Connections sold to Freeman

Freeman finalises acquisition of Staging Connections Group

Staging Connections Group has been acquired by US-founded Freeman, a company which currently produces more than 4,300 expos every year along with 11,000 other events worldwide.

The deal has eclipsed the previously proposed Staging Connections purchase by PSAV (BEN 15 Jun 2015), with Staging’s shareholders approving the sale last month, ahead of the Australian Federal Court giving it the tick on 01 October.

“Staging Connections Group Limited is now part of Freeman’s audio visual division, and will retain its brand,” the companies said.

Freeman ceo Joe Popolo said the acquisition gives the company an immediate presence in the Asia-Pacific region, and “connects us us with an organisation and team that shares our values and our design-driven, customer-centric approach to business.

“There are tremendous growth opportunities by combining these two great companies,” he said.
